Monthly Form D filing activity

This report separates submission activity from financing outcomes. An issuer can submit more than one notice, and an amendment can repeat an earlier amount. Counts measure records available here, rather than completed rounds or dollars raised.

Two completed calendar months

October 2026: 5780 filings from 5520 issuer CIKs. September 2026: 5667 filings from 5417 issuer CIKs.

Filing count difference: 113 (2.0%). Calculation: (later month − earlier month) ÷ earlier month × 100.

These are differences in stored submissions, not growth in funding. Completed calendar periods can still have incomplete imports. The partial current month is excluded from this comparison.

Monthly submission history

One observation per accession number. Issuers are distinct CIKs within each month; do not add monthly issuer counts to get a unique annual count. The current month is partial. A zero means no stored records in that bucket.

Twelve months of available records; calendar months may have incomplete import coverage.

How to use this comparison

If total filings change, inspect initial notices and amendments separately before attributing the difference to new offerings. Compare distinct issuer counts with filing counts to see whether repeated submissions are contributing. Import changes can also change the observed series; confirm coverage in EDGAR before drawing a market-wide conclusion.
